The Gamer

This post is about the phenomenon that has taken the world by storm... and that is the art of 'gaming'.

Thias and Luke love to play video games. LOVE IT. It amazes me to watch my eight and four year old boys manipulate the computer or wii with such ease.  I am amazed because they are much better than I am.

Ray loves to play with them and he LOVES to play...

Today at lunch, he and Luke had a grand time playing together.  Ray would hoot and cheer as they each took turns coming in first.  Each one winning a trophy at least once.  It was fun to watch and fun to play with them.  They were evenly matched... my four year old and my husband.  (I always come in last so I'm not very good competition.)

The problem comes when Matthias plays against Ray because they are both VERY competitive and quite frankly, Thias is much better at the game than Ray and usually beats him.  That causes problems, but that blog entry is for the "What I don't love about Ray" blog.

I love that Ray plays with the kids.  They love it too.  We both have our roles with the kids and he is the gamer- a worthy opponent for the kids.

For the record... I am a worthy opponent at
(and so is he)
